CYBER SECURITY OVERVIEW

Australia is suffering from a cyber security skills shortage at a time when data breaches, ransom demands, denial of service attacks and other hacks are increasing almost on a daily basis and threat vectors multiplying,  Today data resides in the cloud, on our mobiles, the “Internet of Things”, threatening the very core of business operations and the personal identity and details of customers.  The threat is real and growing.  

To meet these challenges firms are focussing on increasing the resilience of their organizations.  Currently the roles of  Security Analyst, Security Engineer or Architect, Security/IT Director or Manager, CISO/CSO, Systems Administrator, Network Architect or Engineer, Forensics Investigator, Auditor, Systems Engineer or Integrator are the most sought after.
